Who did we write it for?
We wrote it for the woman who wants more than aesthetics and buzzwords.
The woman who’s in her first six months and can’t find a straight answer.
The woman in year five who’s burnt out from guesswork.
The woman who’s been told she needs a manager, when what she really needs is a mirror and a strategy.
We’ve both sat in every one of those seats. Mia in her transition season, mapping her exit with intention. Eden scaling mentorship without ever losing the human element. Our experiences differ, but our goal has always been the same:
to make this industry less opaque.
To make autonomy more accessible.
What it took to get here
To be completely honest, this thing didn’t come together cleanly. We went through so many drafts.
We argued over fonts.
We hosted roundtables with past graduates.
We pulled phrases from old coaching notes, reworded them, then threw them out at midnight.
We wanted structure—but not rigidity.
Depth—but not overwhelm.
Warmth—but still professional.
And after a dozen near misses, what we landed on was… a Frankenstein. But a magically helpful one.
We eventually outsourced editing to someone with a background in adult education (and the patience of a saint). They took our chaos and turned it into clarity. They helped us preserve the intimacy of our tone while tightening the content so it could speak to every kind of reader: neurodivergent thinkers, visual learners, bullet-point lovers, slow processors, and those who just need the right sentence at the right time.
And yes… there was coffee. So much coffee.
There were 2am edits and half-eaten pastries.
Voice notes that began with “Okay, hear me out…”
Spreadsheets we swore we’d delete but never did.
Red pens. Pink highlighters.
And a running joke that the compendium was starting to feel like a relationship.
But now that it’s here?
We’re proud of what we made.
We made this for you. So you can earn with clarity, book with confidence, and build with purpose—without waiting years to figure it all out.
